Our mission is to showcase the biggest professional long drive events in Australia and provide competitors the road to the $450,000 RE/MAX WLDC purse.

South African RE/MAX WLDC

RE/MAX of Southern Africa hosts the annual South African RE/MAX WLD Championship presented by FNB. Long drivers compete for R50,000 cash and an exemption to the RE/MAX WLDC in Mesquite, Nevada. The championship was successfully brought to South Africa for the first time in 1998 by RE/MAX of Southern Africa in association with Dale Hayes Golf Events. RE/MAX spokesman Ronan McCool said South African golfers had he talent to beat the world's best and he considered it merely a matter of time before a local competitor wins the world title.
